LM Title is expanding Lawyer Mutual’s 41 year commitment to the real property bar by offering fast, accurate and reliable title insurance services to law firms throughout North Carolina.

Last year was another strong year for us. We continued to strengthen our balance sheet while increasing our policyholder dividend from 5.6% to 6.9% of final policy premium (an increase of 23%).

One of the greatest benefits of being insured by a mutual insurance company is that we share our financial success with our policyholders. Our goal is not only to continue paying dividends. We hope to be able to continue to increase them.

We met the challenge of the changing face of the legal profession by offering our insureds more services to help them be competitive in the new legal marketplace.

All while recognizing that Relationships are the core of our business - in the past, present and the future.

While many aspects of a law practice resemble those of 30 years ago, some have undergone major change. Two of these are the cost of providing health coverage, and the risks that emanate from the digital revolution.
