Camille Stell to Head New Lawyers Mutual Consulting and Services
Lawyers Mutual is proud to announce the launch of Lawyers Mutual Consulting and Services (LMCS). The business, whose mission is: “helping lawyers and our peers evolve and thrive,” will begin providing consulting services in October 2018.
Camille Stell, who serves as Vice President of Client Services, will transition from her role to serve as President and CEO. In her role as Vice President of Client Services, Camille has traveled the state gaining knowledge and experience in working with law firms of all sizes in business development, strategic planning, and succession planning.
Camille has been instrumental in the implementation of Lawyers Mutual’s continuing legal education programs and our expanding online risk management resource center. She is a frequent speaker and author for local, state and national bar and legal associations.
Camille developed the community board program and we now have three community boards across North Carolina with lawyers who are dedicated ambassadors for Lawyers Mutual.
As the President and CEO of LMCS, Camille will continue sharing her wealth of knowledge with attorneys across the state and beyond. LMCS services will include: business development coaching and workshops, succession and transition planning, and strategic planning and retreats for individual attorneys and law firms, as well as associations. One of Camille’s passion projects is helping lawyers and associations thrive in a challenging marketplace.
Camille has worked with Lawyers Mutual for 16 years of her career. She first joined Lawyers Mutual in 1994. Camille returned to Lawyers Mutual in 2009 as the Director of Client Services and was named Vice President of Client Services in March of 2013.

Camille has been a staple in the legal industry for over 30 years and has served the legal community in various capacities. She is a past Chair of the Law Practice Management Section of the North Carolina Bar Association as well as past Chair of the Legal Marketing Association Raleigh City Group. She has served on the editorial board of Legal Assistant Today magazine, Women’s Edge magazine, Carolina Paralegal News and as the Supplements Editor for North Carolina Lawyers Weekly. In 2011, Camille was recognized by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly as a member of the inaugural class of “Leaders in the Law.” In 2016, Camille was recognized by the Triangle Business Journal as a “Women in Business” award winner. She was recently appointed as a member of the inaugural Pro Bono Resource Center Advisory Board.
