Our Company

Ted Edwards joined the Lawyers Mutual Board of Directors in 2026. Mr. Edwards handles a wide variety of litigation matters including construction litigation; business disputes, affordable housing; products liability, and environmental matters. Mr. Edwards is also a certified mediator and has an active mediation practice. Mr. Edwards graduated from Duke University with a double major in Political Science and Sociology.  He also received his Juris Doctor degree from the Duke University School of Law.

In 2024, Ted received the John B. McMillan Distinguished Service Award from the North Carolina State Bar. Previously, Ted was recognized with the North Carolina Bar Association’s Citizen Lawyer Award (2011), received the Bar Association’s William L. Thorpe Bro Bono Attorney Award (2006), profiled as a North Carolina Lawyers Weekly “Up and Coming Lawyer in North Carolina” (2004), and was recognized by the Triangle Business Journal for its “40 Under 40” list (2002).
