Lawyers Mutual NC Welcomes Summer Law Intern, Imani Henderson

Lawyers Mutual is pleased to welcome summer law intern, Imani Henderson, a rising 2L at Campbell Law School. Imani earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish from Elon University in 2020. She also studied at the Universidad of Seville in Spain.

Imani joins Lawyers Mutual in Cary for six weeks where she will work closely with claims attorneys and other departments to gain practical legal experience conducting research, drafting documents, and attending mediations and arbitrations. Imani also has a slate of external activities that will expand her professional networks and grow her professionalism skills. As a company that places value on meaningful relationships, Lawyer Mutual encourages summer interns to make connections in the legal community that will benefit them in law school and well into practice.

About the Minorities in the Profession Committee

The Minorities in the Profession Committee (MIP) is a committee of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) dedicated to promoting an increased presence of minorities in the legal profession; the ongoing education of minorities in the legal profession; the betterment of life for those minorities in the legal profession; providing the public with quality information regarding issues of concern to minority lawyers; and educating the public about the contributions of North Carolina’s minority lawyers.
