Lawyers Mutual Welcomes New Board Member
Lawyers Mutual is pleased to welcome Michael A. Colombo, an attorney with Colombo, Kitchin, Dunn, Ball & Porter, LLP of Greenville, as the newest member of our Board of Directors.
Colombo practices in the areas of estate and trust planning and administration, tax planning and disputes, and business planning and transactions. A graduate of North Carolina State University and the University of South Carolina School of Law, he has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and named to Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite. Before attending law school, Colombo served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force, rising to the rank of Captain.
Colombo has long been recognized for his leadership abilities serving as President of the Pitt County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association. He is currently serving in the American Bar Association House of Delegates.
Colombo’s accomplishments are not limited to the legal field. He is active in his community as well, serving or having served in leadership roles with East Carolina Vocational Center, Saint James United Methodist Church, Boys and Girls Clubs of Pitt County, Pitt Community College Board of Trustees, Pitt-Greenville Chamber of Commerce and the Pitt County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
