LM Welcomes Summer Intern, Joanna Diaz
Lawyers Mutual is pleased to welcome Joanna Diaz, a 1L at Campbell University School of Law, as a summer intern. Joanna earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida.
Joanna joins the Lawyers Mutual team for six weeks, working in the Cary office as well as remotely. Summer interns at Lawyers Mutual work closely with claims attorneys and other departments to gain practical legal experience conducting research, drafting documents and attending mediations and arbitrations. Joanna plans to engage the legal community at in-person and virtual events across the triangle to grow her professionalism and networking skills. As a company that places value of meaningful relationships, Lawyer Mutual helps summer interns make connections in the legal community that will benefit them as they continue their education and transition into practice.

About the Minorities in the Profession Committee
The Minorities in the Profession Committee (MIP) is a committee of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) dedicated to promoting an increased presence of minorities in the legal profession; the ongoing education of minorities in the legal profession; the betterment of life for those minorities in the legal profession; providing the public with quality information regarding issues of concern to minority lawyers; and educating the public about the contributions of North Carolina’s minority lawyers.
About Joanna
Joanna is a rising 2L at Campbell University Norman A. Wiggins School of Law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Central Florida. During her 1L year at Cambell, Joanna was the Recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship.
