Lawyers Mutual Consulting & Services has partnered with Biltmore Center for Professional Development to present, “Authentic Leadership.” The two-day workshop will take place on September 18-19, at the beautiful Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Attendees will engage in immersive learning that is guaranteed to yield immediate results.
We had a chance to learn more about the workshop from Hannah Williams, Business Development Specialist for Biltmore Center for Professional Development.
LM: Can you tell us a little bit about the Biltmore Center for Professional Development?
HW: Based on the data, we know that 66% of customers leave a business after just one poor experience – So to put it plainly, we help executives across the country build client loyalty and cultivate a dedicated workforce as a competitive advantage. Our passion is to help businesses create raving fans who come back to them time and time again.
We’ve helped hundreds of leaders apply best practices from the hospitality industry to their firms through our interactive leadership workshops. Our most popular offerings are single and multi-day workshops held on Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. During these learning sessions, our participants enjoy interactive learning, behind-the-scenes experiences, and meals prepared by our award-winning chefs!
LM: What Makes the learning Experience with Biltmore Unique?
HW: There are 4 main factors that make the Biltmore experience unique; experiential learning, the estate, the results, and the facilitators. We know that it’s frustrating to attend a less than exciting training and leave without action steps. In our workshops, we take you beyond the classroom setting and give you a behind the scenes look at how our strategies are implemented into the fabric of our company.
As part of the program, you’ll be immersed in our culture and enjoy our luxurious world-class service while experiencing the estate’s attractions. See firsthand what the “Biltmore way” means.
The first chapter in creating your success story begins the day you leave our program. We provide the skills for you to create measurable progress and growth. You’ll be empowered to cultivate a fresh leadership style, grow a positive company culture, and transform employee behavior.
Our program is unique because our teachers are Biltmore’s leaders. When they step into the classroom, they are teaching from a place of experience and can share valuable insight gleaned from years of leadership. You’ll learn how to be the best from the best.
LM: Is the Biltmore program accredited?
HW: The Biltmore Center for Professional Development® has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). LM: Can you tell us about the Authentic Leadership workshop?
HW: In Biltmore's Authentic Leadership workshop, participants will spend two full days on Biltmore Estate engaging in immersive learning, on-estate activities, and fine dining – while building a results-oriented action plan, we also have a blast enjoying a culinary cooking competition and sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains over breakfast. The workshop focuses on three areas:
- Self-leadership
- Influencing other leaders and your employees
- Building future leaders into the fabric of your company
Each participant will leave with a plan for their own organization.
LM: Who instructs the workshops?
HW: The upcoming September 18-19, 2019 sessions will be instructed by two nationally-renowned trainers: Anna Sullins, Manager of Training & Development at Biltmore & Chris Maslin, Sr. Director of Talent & Organizational Development. Both are celebrating 11 years at Biltmore Estate, and have trained companies of all industries over the years, including legal, healthcare, entertainment, financial services, and many more.

Our clients have achieved astounding results by implementing Biltmore best practices – one recently doubled their number of patients this year, and others have seen increases in customer satisfaction of 10-20%!
